It’s National Boss’s Day! Man, they make a holiday for everything, don’t they? This holiday started in 1958 and is celebrated in the US, Canada, Lithuania and India. It’s usually celebrated on October 16th, but this year that was a Sunday so we are celebrating it today, October 17th. National Boss’s Day was created in order to promote healthy relationships between managers and employees. We all know how important a good work environment is, which includes intra-office relationships. Even if your boss didn’t approve your vacation time a couple of weeks ago, still remind them that you appreciate them. You know you do. Remember those few times you came in late and they never said anything? They’ve got your back—after all, what would their company be without you?
You don’t have to do anything grand. You could write them a card, buy them a coffee or even send them this cute video: Happy National Boss’s Day to all of the wonderful bosses out there. We appreciate you!
