Can you believe it!? It’s finally starting to feel chilly (well… it’s less than 95 degrees) outside. This only means that it’s now justifiable to consume anything and everything pumpkin flavored, stock up on flannels, and start narrowing down your Halloween costume options.
It’s also time to start filling up your calendar with seasonal adventures. There are so many things to do in San Antonio this autumn. The Pumpkin Patch San Antonio opens this weekend at 3:00PM. Here, you and your family are able to pick out a couple unique pumpkins while chowing down on some delicious food truck snacks. Or, you could take the short drive about 36 minutes southeast of San Antonio to Floresville to check out their Peanut Festival October 6th- 8th. Their annual Goober Games will be sure to get you in the mood for fall. North East Community Ed even has something to add to your autumn adventures too: Ghost Tours! Available ONLY on Monday, October 17th and Monday, October 24th, join Randy Felts as he leads his Ghost & Legends of San Antonio Tour. Take a bite out of San Antonio downtown folklore and learn why La Llorona wails along the river, why the Donkey Lady seeks eternal revenge and why the sound of rattlesnakes chill your bones. See, I told you! San Antonio pulls out all the stops when it comes to autumn festivities. Interested in our Ghost Tours? Check out the full description and registration information here. We’ll see you there!
