Even if you have plans, you might want to cancel them because there is a tamale festival going on at the Historic Pearl of San Antonio! Yep, you heard right. Tamales! Holiday Festival is being held for the 7th year in a row this Saturday, December 3rd from 12:00-6:00PM.
There will be live performances, music, activities for the kiddos and over course pounds and pounds of tamales. Over 40 tamale makers will be there, each serving up their unique twists on the traditional tamale. Aside from the festival itself being free, the food and beverages only range from $1 to $5. You can’t beat affordable family-friendly fun. I know what you’re thinking—it’s going to rain this Saturday though! Well, that’s not stopping any tamale maker. Rain or shine, the Tamales! Holiday Festival will go on. See you there!
